I don't know if I should call this a vase, a posy, a flowerpot or what. I've never seen anything exactly like it. It has the original insert - I have a weakness for things like that surviving and it sold me on buying it (on ebay of course). The piece, which is all one piece aside from the insert, is ceramic but the insert is metal. On the base is just "1/291" - my pic is a little out of focus. Any ideas at all on age, maker, what to call it?
