Title: Lime Green Monkey --- Made in England Stamp

Found this lime Green monkey ( holding a baby Monkey ) and it is marked MADE IN ENGLAND, It looks to be OLD as the glaze has crackle in it. I thought maybe Sylvac because of the color but not sure. It is about 8.50 inches tall and about 4.50 inches wide. So not too small. Anyone have any ideas at all.

........This is almost 9 inches tall.....LOL.....I do not think it would be in a tea box!! :hby:

No, I don't think it is Wade (although that was the company whose name I was trying to come up with). Now there's another one, does a lot of horses and stuff, Beasley, or something. Post by: Tigerchips on December 20, 2016, 03:27:42 PM: These kind of things were popular in the 1950's mainly due to SylvaC but it could have been made at any time really. Melba Ware and Price Bros are just two that i know of but i don't think they ever made monkeys.
