Title: Yorkshire terrier sitting on a cushion
Post by: Tigerchips on July 17, 2017, 02:47:58 PM
I thought i had posted this before but i don't seem to be able to find it.

Anyway, i managed to find another one with the same style cushion but with a different dog (Fox-Terrier). It has a red sticker: "Made in Japan". http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sitting-Fox-Terrier-Puppy-Dog-on-Pillow-Bed-Figurine-Japan-Glossy-Porcelain-/122528833915?hash=item1c8749a17b:g:DFoAAOSwJH1ZMOKt

Quite nice they are, but not sure who made it. The cushion can become detached from the base as i've seen a Yorkie without one, but this one is glued on tight.

Funny enough I have one with a cocker spaniel on (have had it for around 6 years now), no label on the base, I never knew where they came from until now. Mine, like yours, does not come off the cushion.

Glad i helped there. They seem to be nicely made, shame they didn't mark them with the company name.

They are well made, and agree, they should have put a factory name on. I love my one as I have had spaniels in the past.
