This is probably quite new but i liked it so i bought it for £3. I think they are Kutani style sake cups. Seems really nicely done, any ideas who?
...Sorry, my 1st picture is a bit out of focus.

Hello TC, had a quick look through a couple of my books as yet nothing similar, will have a better look tomorrow ;D ;D
-
Thanks Keith. I think this is so new it might not be in any books yet, i could be wrong though.

Not looked yet, been one of those days, also got soaked by our wonderful British weather ! will look later ;D ;D

Well that's got me bamboozled ??? can't find anything similar, the mark bears some resemblance to the Kutani mark but has ''extra' 'bits' sorry ???
-
No problem Keith, thanks for looking.
-
This is the standard and most common form for Kutani ware, you can see the similarities...

Thanks to someone on Asian Art Forum the mark reads 'Senshun'. Name of kiln that continues for three generations in the Hiyoshi area of Kyoto. :)
