Title: Nice big vase - ID = Kingston Pottery

It has a lovely drip glaze almost like Cornish, Crown Ducal and probably many others.

I can't make out the first name on the mark it reads as follows: "? ? ? ? ? ? ? Pottery ? ? ? ? ?", a shield below that and then "Made In England" below the shield.

I guessed from the initials that the "KP" stood for Kingston Pottery.   ;D

yep, your right TC, see ebay 270169240199 for the mark.
