As promised, here is my Edme Samson piece, it has been confimed as a Samson fake

H Elaine, auction house ID, they quoted, guilding ( too fresh) figures and lettering ( too new ) also too crude.

What did they think it was trying to imitate? Chinese Export?

Hi T.C, they thought that Samson was trying to imitate early meissen chinese mark's, they told me mine was a Samson and not Meissen, when i bought it i thought all my birthday's had come at once ::) but still, Samson is collectable in his own right now.
What do you think Kev ? and of course you too tiger ?

I'm not sure, an imitation mark of an imitation mark, complicated. ;D
What does it say underneath the mark?

It say,s France, but after reading that article i'm even more confused ??? i think i do have a Samson piece, the gold spearheads around the rim are edged in gold, it has a blue tinge ect: oh flamin nora!! :-\ what next?
