You may get this straight away but here goes>
What is the brass object?
-
Ignore the donkey, it's made out of lead...
-
well the brass thingy looks like a toffee hammer my mum used to get with Sharps hard toffee in a tray?
But I would like the M&Ms please....
-
A pendulum for a clock, maybe ???
-
Another tool......with a combination of tools hidden in the handle. I (think)....
I have one something like it. The top is a hammer, and then it comes apart, and there are other mini screwdrivers inside. Mine too is made of brass, and I keep it in my kitchen drawer, so I have a little hammer, screw-driver, etc right there.
I hope I am right.....if not, then I will post a pic of mine to show you how much they are alike, and how this is a *mystery item* to me then.... :24:
Please pass the M & M, please here too...
-
M&M's are my favorites, along with everything else that has chocolate on it.
It is, indeed, a tool, more than one tool and one of them is hidden inside the handle. It's probably a screwdriver. There is a little wheel underneath the hammer shaped part.
Lets see your tools, Rose.
-
Yay, I won....yipeee....
Sure, since you showed me your *tool* :o .....I will show you my *tool* :o....as soon as I get a pic done...
I do not know it mine has a wheel on it, but I will check. Mine (I think) just has the screw drivers in it...but will post *MY TOOL*... :24:
I do not know that much about pottery, as a :new: , but farm raised.....I know my tools....lol :gcheer:
-
Yay, I won....yipeee....
Sort of, but you haven't named the main tool. What's the wheel for?
-
Don't have a clue what the wheel is for, Tony ??? ::) :P
We also have a similar tool, pictured below, but yours looks totally different, so the penny didn't drop. ;)
-
It's a sharp wheel and I'm hesitating to say the word. :24:
-
Aw what's wrong with the word "wheel"? Poor thing.... :24:
-
Aw what's wrong with the word "wheel"? Poor thing.... :24:
Not that word, silly. ::)
-
;D
Oh... are we getting serious over here then?? :boohoo:
shame...
(wanders off to make the coffee....)
-
<perks up a bit>
But then, silly is our serious isn't it?
So that should be ok then, yes? :srf:
-
:hj:
you have to all forgive me a bit today. I walked into my husband's foot (he was up a ladder at the time... doh) and I think I have concussion...
-
It is an instrument of torture for some people on here (the tool).
-
Sharp tool, instrument of pane (for some) and a word I hesitate to say.
It's as clear as a clear day.
-
So does anyone know what it is then?...
...Coz I haven't a clue. :24:
Just kidding...
...Unless i've got it wrong in which case it won't be what i'm thinking it is. :24:
-
Sue?
-
Your second pic look's totaly different to the first ??? but any way i think is it a glaziers tool, the notches in the handle part, is for snapping off the glass after it has been scored by the wheel, am i right? :D
