Title: Monkey Jug Help (Thomas Forrester and Sons)
Post by: blondiebee on December 08, 2007, 08:55:17 PM
I found this Monkey Jug which looks really old and interesting. I paid a ?1 for it at a car boot and really like him.
Its stamped with T F & S Ltd , so after research I believe its Thomas Forester & Son Ltd of Staffordshire.
It seems to date around 1891.

Would anyone know if this is collectable and if its worth anything?

Thankyou for all your help.

I can't help with value, but the mark is of Thomas Forrester and Sons Ltd, Phoenix Works, Longton Staffs the mark in use from 1891-1912.

Hope this helps
