Hello All :xt:
As usual I insisted that the stark naked Mr Sueskay take this photo but I can't make anything out at all this time - sorry.
This lovely big fruity thing has been a favourite of mine in the kitchen for a while. Does anyone know anything about it? It doesn't have any marks that I can see.
Nasty to dust (apparently)

I think a lot of these large fruity things were made in Italy.

Lynne, you took the word's out of my mouth, i would say Italy too.

Thanks Lynne.
Does anyone know when-ish this would have been made in Italy?

I reckon they put the work into it in the 70s to 80s Sue - I am sure I was still seeing these in shops in the West End when I was working up there in my early 20s.

Thanks Lynne :kissy:
Were they relatively cheap things do you recall Lynne? Its very heavy.

Yes, lots of Italian ceramics there... very popular then, along with Capo di Monte tramps.
as for price then... I think they were much more expensive then than they would be now....
