Found this yesterday it is marked as shown, is this my first bitossi?

Don't know, but my one piece of Bitossi was white clay

Thanks, glad to know that it's not a Bitossi (weeeeep), one day i'll find it, the quest continues. Still like to know who made this. Btw is it an ashtray or a candleholder or both, or has it some other name/function. I'm not used to ashtrays in combination with a candleholder....

It could also be a pipe smoker's ashtray/rest. The bowl on the middle, and the stem in the dips  ???

Yes it was sounds convincing enough to me, and thanks, I'll treat it as an ashtray then in the future.
