Hi, I bought this a a thrift store and have no idea on it. Kinda pretty though. It has a stamped base that says (looks like it) Kveina on it, plus the numbers 16, and (of course the only thing I can understand)....the 1990.
So I guess it is from 1990.....but I have no idea where to post this. There is another mark (indent stamp) on it.
Any ideas....(I think that is what it says on the bottom -- maybe that is wrong)
THANKS
Getting a bit better - sometimes - at taking pics with new camera -- sometimes I do OK, like the last pix here.... :gcheer:

Kvetna is in the Czech Republic. The shield is probably the manufacturer's mark. Can you get a close up of that - have you got a macro (the flower) button, but don't zoom
-
The printed mark is a date stamp - it means the 16 May 1990 (kvetna is one of the Czech words for May.)

Have a look through here, could this be it? http://www.kerat.cz/

Yes, I think there is a flower (macro) on it...just give me a few days. I will also put some powder in the mark to try to bring it out.
Boy...you folks are smart...I did not have a clue about it, or even the word....and it was *read-able*
 thanks
