Can anyone tell me anything about this please?

Shiny silver on the outside and brown glazed inside.

No markings.

Silver Lustre. Made by many Staffordshire firms, sometimes copying traditional silver designs.

Thanks TC, yes I see what you mean about the copying.  Are there quite a few about then?  I don't think I've seen many others recently.........in the charity shops etc.

Neither have I Sue, but I do remember seeing a lot of these when I was a child. They seemed to be very popular in the sixties and before. Think they went out of fashion after that.

I see the odd one once in a while.

Some have what's known as a resist lustre pattern...
