Hi all
Got this the other day is it old or a repro?? In several places it has what looks like something in the clay has burst out while firing.

I know what you mean, but I do a lot of metal detecting at weekends and see a lot of old pottery on the fields.
This piece is either old or deliberately made to look old??
Definately not just modern production piece.

I think the pattern is known as being 'feathered'. And yes, it does look like an old one.
