Title: Poole
Post by: Elaine on August 18, 2007, 08:38:35 PM
Here's a couple of Poole pieces I bought a while back.  I love the vase, 'cos it reminds me of a bundle of curvy nude ladies piled in a heap (having an orgy? )  ;D  Well, that's what it looks like to me!  Perhaps it's just my mind  8)

The bowl is another favourite.  It got broken (catted  >:() but I stuck it back together - more or less invisibly  :(

Any info about these two would be appreciated.

Forgot the dimensions AGAIN!  :-[

The vase is 11 inches high at the highest point and the little pot is just under 4 inches.

Well, Pashmina likes the vase anyway!

o.k. Elaine,
They are from the Sienna range 1978/79.
The first (tall one) is decorated by Laura Wills , i can't quite see who signed the bowl, shaped one.

Thanks, Dan  :)

I think the initial on the bowl is an M - maybe C M - does that give any clues?

Sorry but no, there were two decorators with the initials J.M. ?
