Title: Selborne pottery
Post by: dantheman on September 06, 2007, 03:23:09 PM
This jug has a terrific glaze, equal to Cobridge's best pieces but i have failed to find any info on the pottery.
I have always assumed it was Welborne pottery but the first letter didn't impress well when it was stamped.

I just looked up Selborne and hit the jackpot. It is the pottery responsible and they produce stunning pots!
My jug is called red harlequin and i will be buying mugs and sugar bowl to go with it.
The pottery is in Hampshire and they have a web site but the I T quality is poor. Worth a look if you love Studio pottery though.

Yes, I love his stuff.   I've visited the shop in Selbourne and he's often at craft fairs as well.
