Title: EB Foley - Teacup and Saucer - Help to date.

Hi, I have this one also.  Need help to date, to see (figure out) any value.  Thxs

                    (stamp of lion with paw raised) & looks like in gold writing the no. 2052
                    18 EB 50 ( the EB is in script between the date numbers - think it is date)
                    Foley Bone china
                    Made in England

Is this one old?  Maybe I should keep it.... THXS.  Will add to gallery once have some info.

TC is right, the mark dates to the period 1948-63 and judging by the design and its similarities to late 1940s/50s pieces I have, earlier rather than later because it look like a hand-coloured transfer
