Title: Hazel Faithfull, decorator
Post by: Anne on March 04, 2008, 02:38:21 PM
Hazel Faithfull was a decorator of ceramics, based in Clerkenwell, London in the 1980s/1990s. She has now given this up and teaches yoga in Oxford. I used to meet up with her every year at the Little Venice canal festival and buy mugs from her. This is the last surviving one - handpainted then fired, with her monogram on the base.

Hazel also produced hand-painted tile scenes and bowls, etc...

Good news! Hazel is once more decorating ceramics after a 10 year break... http://www.hazelfaithfull.co.uk/hazel-yoga/ - see her each month at the Appleton Farmers Market at the Village Hall, Oaksmere, Appleton, near Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

Whilst looking through old pictures and postcards I came across an advertising card for Hazel showing her tableware range, so am adding it here for reference...
