Here is a picture I captured this of an auction, it should be OK as the auction is closed and I have bought this piece just have to wait for it to arrive.
-
Here it is, ugly aint it?
-
Can't read the form number, sorry.
-
I think this lava vase is a Bay 42-20? It's hard to read.
-
I bought this for ?2.
-
The only problem I can find so far is that there is a flat chip on the base. I spotted the chip before I bought it. Oh, and the tape on the shade is wearing away.
-
I bought this because it fits in beautifully with the colours in my front room.
Who made it, please ? 8)

I found a Bay "red thing" here in Auckland....what do you think?

-
711-30 dont know if anyone can tell me anything about the glaze on this one, again a bit special.
-
that glaze looks familiar.... , but I can not really read its number
-
I have what looks like a Bay Keramik vase with the form number 931-30 the nine actually looks like a "g" on the vase. Is that possible?
-
Here are the pics
-
If you scroll up to Orpheus' post on 8 Jan you will see the 9 on his vase is the same. It was probably just the font used, look at the funny flat tail on the Y. equally the 9 punch may have been lost and a g substituted
-
Thanks....good to know. Now I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about it. I can't seem to find any other forms with the same number. Interested in some info...or if someone has the same form perhaps a pic or two. Kind of new to the whole German Pottery thing.

Hi and Welcome to the Board.....and *HI* to another Canadian... :cheerleader:
Try some of these sites here, as I think you will find them most enjoyable....and love to see any of your other items posted here. I too have a few West Germany items, and am learning too. TC (Tigerchips) and others know much more than I, but here is a quick list of some items. Enjoy, and again WELCOME.
