I have picked up a few pieces marked DEE CEE, but not marked foreign, let me have a think, because i have looked at this before...

I found this little snippit.

I have also seen Dee Cee on some things down here but have always left them alone as Not to sure where they came from. Might have annother look for them now.

I just went and had a look at some of my pots and i've found a 'Dee Cee' inscribed with 'foreign' onto a flat based, red clay 216/12. it looks like a D&B but red clay?Any ideas anyone?

I am sure Frank once mentioned that he had catalogues for Hillstonier, if so he may have some information about imports to Dee Cee.

I think your Welsh border company was probably the Dragon Pottery. It seems quite a lot of their stuff was marked Dee Cee too. They've also been around since 1962. This book (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dragon-Pottery-Rhayader-History-Products/dp/0954966007/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1201899182&sr=1-6) might clear up the mystery if anyone has it. See review

Is this topic the remnants of another, earlier discussion?

I've always thought of Dee Cee as reseller of D&B pots.
I think the attached illustrate it quite well.

I think Dee Cee sold all sorts of everything - a bit like G Hardy and L Jones & Co in glass

This is one of those topics that fell apart when some board members left. Thanks for adding the D&B examples
