Topic: Vegetables Salt & Pepper Pots

Hi,

Anyone recognise these Salt & Pepper pots? Like a lot of cruets they are unmarked. Quite a distinctive shape but I've no idea about age or origin.

I'm fairly sure i've seen them before but can't think if they are new or old. 

Any signs of age to the base?

They remind me of Rayware, but I am not sure....

When I bought them, I was thinking of that Egersund design too 
They do have their stoppers, made from a red rubbery material, rather perished.
I can make out "SUBA SEAL" and a patent number (I think) "Pat No. 469982". Suba Seal seems to be a worldwide brand of rubber seals for everything, chemicals, medical things etc.

Judging by the stoppers they would appear to have at least some age to them. The unglazed base rims also have that grubby look.

Hi and welcome to the board.   They do look similar to Saladware don't they, but I'm not sure. Replacements.com has only a platter shown in the pattern, which helps a little but...
