Thanks Tigerchips - I have tried a number of permutations on this name but found nothing too.

Hi there, I dug around a bit and will get in touch later with the local history archives on the island of Fynen, where Ravnild Keramik was situated. It seems to have been operational from 1940 to 1960 but hopefully I'll get back with more precise info.
Cheers for now!

Hi Crispin, and Welcome to the Board.  :cheerleader: :cheerleader: :cheerleader:   This is where some of us GMB people roam around too....lol....as we collect everything

Very nice bowl there and a40ty knows her stuff.  We look forward to seeing your pottery posts, or anything old in the other section too.

...And again Welcome  :kissy: :kissy:

Hi Rose, you make me blush  I'm just the detective.. :comp:

Crispin, the gentlman in the archive had found out quite a bit about the place and the people but he's in the middle of setting up an exhibition and his notes have disappeared somewhere in the confusion. He'll be finished with the setting up by tomorrow and I've arranged to ring him next week.
In the meantime,
Could you please send me the photos you have already posted plus one of the inside of the bowl/dish?
The gentleman would also like to know the dimensions of it. He thinks they may have some of the company's products in a box in the attic, and he says it might help to compare "yours" with "theirs".

He's such a very nice helpful person, he made my day :)
You can pm me with your email address and I'll send you mine that way.
look forward to hearing from you!
