Cat bowl/platter
« on: June 22, 2008, 09:13:55 PM »
Hello, this is my first post here.

We inherited this bowl, but don't know anything about it besides what we can find written on the back. It looks like chelsea pottery, england.

Can someone recognize it and give more information? anything about it would be helpful.

Thank you for your time.

Hi and welcome to the board.  Your cat bowl is super! I've not seen that particular mark on Chelsea, but they used so many of them that's not surprising!  The front of the plate has a monogram BR - could this be Barbara Ross, I wonder? The paper label is right for older pieces of Chelsea.
Cheers!

Thank you both. We are moving and can't really afford to ship much, so figuring out if we should sell it on craig's list or garage sale or keep it is kind of a tough choice.

I think we are leaning to keeping it now.
