Hi I have this horse.  It is about 6 inches tall, and has a round mark on the bottom that just says Made in England as far as I can make out.  Anyone know who?  It is a round circle.  The horse has a hole underneath, and is (politically) correct.  :blush:

Reminds me of a Trentham Pottery piece, the white clay looks the same. The stamp may have been for export purposes as Trentham tended to use labels.

I often see these kind of things, It's had round plastic or round leather pads stuck to it's feet at some point. The cart or carriage is missing. I haven't been able to ID them but always thought they were Cooper Craft or Melba ware. I never thought about Trentham Pottery actually, i'll have to look into that...

I've never seen one with a 'Made in England' stamp as far as i can remember...

My gran used to have loads of these but I can't remember if any of them were marked - I know they came in a whole range of sizes and I've always thought they were English so perhaps they were marked as such and it's stuck deep in my memory somewhere.
