Pooches and mutts - can anyone point me at dog maker?

Hi.
Two dogs here. The dachs has no markings at all, the alsatian has "933" moulded on his belly. These are not small items - the alsatian is 8" - 20 cm high. I don't think it is Melba, or Beswick. Any
leads
?

They could be German. Those sorts of number codes often are. They're rather nice - not too twee. I will investigate
