Since the early 1900s Farberware has been making timeless gifts for homemakers. Many of these treasures, which are still collected and used, have been included in this book in over 170 color photos and nearly 100 original catalog pages.

As a chrome, aluminum or Art Deco collector, this book will become an invaluable resource for you. From coffee pots to tea pots, from salt and pepper sets to cocktail sets, this book will provide you with all the information known about the early years of the Farberware business. Also included are those look alike patterns made by other companies during this time period; Farber & Shlevin and Farber Bros.

Simon W. Farber arrived in the U.S. in 1898 from Russia and started his business by pounding and hammering out items in his basement shop in Manhattan. He quickly hired some extra hands and by 1910 the company was producing a variety of serving items and giftware.

By 1930, Farberware had introduced small appliances to their catalogs. Still in business today, the Farberware name is known for quality cookware and appliances, but in the early years they manufactured fabulous giftware.
