It sort of reminds me of those items that use to come in RED ROSE TEA, but I do NOT think it is.....just reminds me of those.

What FUN to actually find something in your yard, buried.  That is SO NEAT!!

If you find COIN - it is mine.  I lost it a few centuries ago....lol  :24:

Looks like a bear with a honey pot between his feet - Winnie the Pooh perhaps? (My mum dug up a tiny Peter Rabbit out of her garden!)
Cheers!

Lol, it's Mr Potato Head.

Looks old. but then you never know as it's been buried.

It could be a childs toy or something or a voodoo dolls head?  :o

I noticed something on the back but thought it was just the way it was made?

I'll tell you what this reminds me of, it's probably unrelated anyway because this is pottery. It reminds me of a pair of Scrimshaw whale bones i once saw on the Antique's Roadshow which had been made to look like a face. Anyone else remember those?

Is that a ruff round its neck, under its chin? It does seem odd that someone would make such a tiny thing and then use several glazes on it?

Don't think it's a ruff,another pic' inc',does seem a lot of effort for such a small thing,

Oh I see what TC was referring to.  In the first post (2nd picture) when you enlarge it ....it looks like on the left side the number * 2 * in a darker blue color.  Is that what you are referring to TC.

Maybe it says 21 and instead of getting the keys to the house he/she got this instead, lol.
