     please can you help ID this pottery? It's a lovely piece, that looks wonderful in the light!

Gee that is pretty.  Like a heavy glaze that has crackled.  Hard to make out if that is a *6* or a *b*.  Only thing I could find close to that was in this link http://www.pottery-english.com/Articles/Pottery_Marks/Porcelain_Marks_and_Backstamps_part1/

It is more like stoneware?

I love that piece.  I had something with the crackled effect too (thought I had posted it) but can't find it with search....(??)

Looks like LP or IP. Second word is probably 'pottery'.

Wow - that is interesting.  I never knew of such a thing.  Big  to Anne EB.  (That could be a topic @ GMB too)
