Tea/Coffee Set - Spanish
« on: August 22, 2011, 11:48:58 AM »
Does anyone have any knowledge about this pottery?
My grandma said it was made in Spain.
Year? Information?
Also, what are the little ladle looking things? What are they used for?
No mark or stamp on these.

I am afraid to say it is not Spanish, it is in fact Bulgarian and dates anywhere from the 1950's to the 1970's. Alot of it about at carboot sales at present.

Oooh that's interesting to know, thank you. :) Have you any idea what those wee ladle type things might be for?
Cheers!

It looks like you have the entire set tea cups to go with the tea pot and coffee "ladles" to go with the ornate coffee pot, almost Turkish in style. I don't know for sure but that would be my best educated guess. I've actually found some of this upstairs since I last replied but in miniature, that I was given a while back. I will post a picture for you tomorrow.
