Frog Pot
« on: August 18, 2007, 10:30:24 PM »
I love this pot!  The frog is so realistic, isn't he?  :D

Bought in St Albans, from the Kingsbury Watermill Museum shop.  No idea if the potter is local or not.  The impressed mark is on the inside of the lid, not the base of the jar.

Elaine, that look's like the mark for Peter Anderson, 1979-87 church cottage pottery, Wilby, 1988-94 the particular pottery, Kenningball, 1994-Chediston street, Halesworth.

??? Sue, I've searched the internet and can't find any reference to a Peter Anderson in connection with any of the addresses you give!  Where can I find out about him and his work?
