Studio vase, is this an amateur piece?

It's very, very, very, very, heavy. No marks on the base, glaze has open bubbles here and there.

It's a whopper...a pic of the base even without a mark may give a clue if it's pro' or am'.

It measures approx 14 inches high.

I'm going with c1970s semi-pro'...no sign of a mark around the edge near the base?....interesting pot that would make a great decorators piece (interior designer not painter & decorator that is)
