Small lava jug with bloodred glaze inside ID help wanted
« on: January 22, 2008, 04:13:45 PM »
Hi have this nice jug in white lava and bloodred glaze inside, marked as in the picture. It's rather heavy (300gr) for such a small vase (14cm).

I've not heard of them before, can you tell us more please?  (Good to see you back, by the way.)
Cheers!

Actually it's Montanus & Remy, a small pottery located in Hoehr-Grenzhausen. I was on a ceramic-holiday with my son last spring and this pottery was located next to our hotel!

Thanks Baz, so it's a German company.   What a great shot of the impressed mark - that's one we'll know again, isn't it. :)
Cheers!
