Unusual shell lidded tea-pot???

Have seen this type of thing in book's i think they are notoriously hard to put a company name too at least ive had no success in finding a suitable manufacturer for it hope you dont mind taking a look at it. Ive taken a picture of the underside of the spout this may be a mark or decoration?.

It looks like a Japanese mark, a province mark perhaps?

The bottom character that looks like a side view of a ringholder is the Kanji character for mountain I think. I've not found the other mark yet though.
