Coffee pot problem

If it is a coffee pot,can find plenty about Longton Hall but nothing about this,had it for ages,any clues please,

I think this kind of mark would be called a Garter mark

According www.thepotteries.org the initials might be for....

J T

Yes, it says in Millers Pottery and porcelain marks that John Tams was based at the Crown Pottery from c.1875, this firm specialised in the production of government measures, jugs, and mugs. The initals "J.T." appear 1875-90, and may also appear as a monogram within a garter, crown and wreath mark.

Longton is a town in Staffordshire. Longton Hall is a porcelain company (1749-60) but has nothing to do with this piece.

What's inside the pot? Does it have small holes in the spout (teapot)? Does it have a large hole (coffee pot)?
