Yellow Vase with (signed) Flowers ??
« on: April 17, 2011, 06:11:58 PM »
 :cheerleader: all:

I bought this as I thought it was interesting since the flowers do have the initials of V.H., I think, IMHO.

The bottom seems to have something on it to like ??  LLV _  ??  then  HN _ or HM ??.  I can't make them out.  Seems to have some age to it, as there is crazing on it, I think.

I have tried numerous pics of the bottom under bright lights (over exposure) to try to figure it out -- so now I will ask you IF you can help me figure this out on the bottom, and the signed flowers on the Side.  Or even who the maker is at all.

Thanks, I am going to post some more pics of the bottom after this post -- to see IF those pics help any more.

?? ?? ?? ?? ??

I doubt it, but the only V.H that I am coming up with are either a VERA HIGGINS, or VERA HUGGINS.....and the names of Doulton Pottery, OR Lambert Pottery, OR Poole Pottery, OR Newark Pottery am I finding for research, but not samples, or have found anything like it.

Lambert Pottery did teak me a bit --- since the bottom does SEEM to look like there is an *L* on the bottom.....but still digging here to see IF I can find anything else....batting Zero right now  ;D

Could be local too, so how knows  :thd: :czy:
