Just too cute! I guess he took his things to market.  ;D This is 3" tall and 3.5" long, only numbers on the bottom.

does the mark on the bottom say :  4888/89 ?  Just wondering.  I wonder IF something was in his cart at one time, but is now lost.....maybe a glass holder for toothpicks

Yes, that looks like the number or the first one is #, can't tell. The little steering wheel is a little over the opening. It would make a tiny flower pot! It is spotless inside, no wear, no dirt. The inside and out is smooth like a plate is. I wonder if there was a set of them, wouldn't that be cute.
