COFFEE & TEA SETS
« on: August 20, 2011, 11:53:11 PM »
My grandma has recently passed away and left me with a heap of stuff including some wonderful tea and coffee sets.

If anyone can help me with make, year, value and any information I'd be really grateful...

1. This set my grandma said was Portuguese
2. This set she said was from Spain and is lovely terra cotta looking with glazed colours - does anyone know what the little ladles with the handles are used for?
3. This one has 'MIKASA' made in Japan stamped on the bottom
4. This teapot has ' ALLERTONS' Willow England stamped on the bottom, and also the number 8

Can you repost one per topic please to keep everything separate. That way we can file into the right forum once we know what they are. :)
Cheers!

No worries, what you need to do is create a new topic for each coffee set in the "What's my Pottery" forum here: http://www.yobunny.com/pottery/index.php?board=1.0 - that way we can discuss each set alone and once they have been (hopefully) identified we move the topics into the right country forum. Does that help more? Email me directly if you get stuck with using the board.
Cheers!
