Hello and help with unknown pottery

Hi all----this pottery is a true terra cotta clay hand thrown, hand decorated and stamped with hallmark--i took pics that were too large to upload,(drat!) and so i sent them to my pic host-----here is a link that should produce a slideshow:

I was thinking that too, Sue. My mother has a wall-pocket thingie with very similar look and decoration to it, and that's Italian.
