It could be a tea bowl for a Japanese tea ceremony,the tea bowls are deliberately made in a way that we Westerners would consider rough and unsightly,the bowls would be handed to the person whom each one was meant for and in a way that the receiver could view the correct side of the bowl.He or she would then sit for hours in contemplation whilst scrutinising that side of the bowl.
..Or it was a crap first attempt at potting! :24: :czy:

Sorry, i have to agree with Dan on this one Rose, it is But Ugly, probably a student piece, i think someone on this board vase might be interested, apparently if you call his name three times he appears.

I was just curious if *I had* any *unknown talent* as a 10 year old....Sorry but I could not resist....I had pottery in my veins as a kid......lol....yup...my first attempt.... :24: :24:
