Hi folks,
I bought this today. I think it a really nice pot but I can't track down the rather scratchy marks. The last word could be 'pottery' but that's perhaps not much help!
Usually I tend to run a mile if things don't have a printed backstamp
With this forum I'll be able to learn
lots
. I've learn't loads already
Thanks

I'm fairly certain you've got the mark upside down..could we have some dimensions as well.
Thanks, Martyn.

Thanks folks, I think you're right. Having transposed the marks, the central monogram looks like "GR" or perhaps "C/R".
16cm high inc. lid, 14cm diameter max.

The bottom word looks like Seychelles to me? but definately this way up.
Top word 'Safpot' or 'Sefpot' or similar
GP in the middle then.
