I think it is an early Scheurich but the base is covered in spotty glaze. so can't see any numbers
Very similar to 517-..
38 cm high

So deffo Scheurich, but the form number is like Emmis 517 but the 'shoulders' are flatter on the top. Dose that make sense!
I have a 517 some where Will try and dig it out..

I have also noticed the differing styles in Scheurich vases over the years mostly with the 401s

I'm guessing that this might be W.German
It has the following numbers on the base 522 20 (the last digit could be an 8 or even a 2 because it is quite indistinct). I love the flame coloured glaze which is much brighter and slightly redder than shown. It has a black interior and stands 8" high.
Any ideas what it is please?
Thank you

The last number is usually the size, 20 cm (8 in) in your case

Not sure if this is Scheurich planter - base marks 806-22, yet it is only 19cms tall, with a 21cms diameter rim.
Help please.

That's good, but I thought the second number - 22 - indicated height of the item, which in this case is 19 cms and not 22 cms. I am confused
